We are looking for a Play Worker to join us at holiday club during the school holidays.

In the role of Play Worker, you will be:

• Ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating and fun environment for all children at the club.
• Engaging effectively with the children during their time in the club.
• Planning and taking part in play and leisure activities for children both inside and outside.
• Able to readily move between different clubs, sometimes at short notice.
• Assisting with the setup of the club so it's ready for when the children arrive and that any snacks or breakfasts are prepared.
• Thoroughly enjoying your role and making each day count for the children in our care.
• Collecting children from local schools and transporting them back to our base club at Buxton Infant School; this will involve either walking or driving the children.
• Working together to keep up with housekeeping jobs at the club to ensure a clean and welcoming environment from everyone.
• Developing and maintaining good relationships and communications with parents and carers.
